Oct. 2nd, 4-H Regional Horse Show
Anna Scheitel won  the Intermediate division
Jessica Peeters won the Senior division

August 9th, we went to a clinic on team penning with Dwight and Arnold Lafave. The kids had lots of fun trying to keep up with those calves!

Aug. 7th, 4-H Achievement Day, Williamstown
Chelsea Maley won the Novice division
Anna Scheitel won the Intermediate division
Jessica Peeters won the Senior Division
Jessica won Grand Champion and received the 4-H belt buckle!

July 28th, we went to the RCMP Musical Ride Stables in Ottawa.
Although the horses for the Ride were on tour, we learned a lot about life at the Stables from Cpl. Martin Kohnen.

June 28th, we had a blast at Levie Performance Horses with Jennifer Levie in Hemmingford. We had learned about reining and judging!

March 18th, we held elections at our first meeting.

2010

Our first year as a 4-H club was a success and a lot of fun! Our members learned a lot about horses and showing.

Each member had a Project horse assigned to them to practice Showmanship; and some members completed project books and 3-sided displays.

Special thanks go to:

· Dr. Glen Collard, who held a veterinary clinic at our barn,

· Yves Jean, Equine Dentist, for his dental clinic, and also for his generous donation to our club,

· Jennifer Levie, Level 2 Coach and EC Judge, for her Showmanship clinic.
